*Xpress appointments are for women who are not using HRT and have no significant past medical history, pre-screening required to ensure this appointment is suitable. Please ask for a pre-screening questionnaire when contacting the clinic.
For standard regimes (Oestrogen and Progesterone, non-hormonal options) follow up is not always needed and a GP or specialist nurse can take over management of treatment. Many patients choose to follow up with Dr Kate for expert advice about amendments or changes to regimes.
Prescriptions can be supplied by the patients GP or privately.
Testosterone
The addition of testosterone may be indicated. This usually follows optimisation of standard HRT regimes.
There are some additional costs involved in this as currently it is generally initiated and monitored by a specialist for the first 12 months of treatment.
